SATURDAY, Nov. 8
2 p.m. – Idania Rapalo, 31, and Doris Rivera, 44, both of Ossining, were arrested and charged with shoplifting after county police responded to complaints at two stores in the Cortlandt Town Center.
WEDNESDAY, Nov. 12
7:55 p.m. – County Police Officer Timothy Joyce served a family court-issued temporary order of protection to a Cortlandt Manor resident that required him to vacate his home and turn over weapons he owned to county police for safekeeping. Police took custody of a .9 mm handgun, five rifles, two shotguns and a longbow.

3:38 p.m. – County Police Officer Rob Kelly arrested a Mohegan Lake resident at his home on an outstanding warrant charging him with unlawful possession of marijuana and loitering, both violations.

10:57 p.m. – Cesar Trinidad, 50, of Cortlandt Manor, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 west.
SUNDAY, Nov. 9
4:16 a.m. – Vincent A. Menniti, 27, of Peekskill, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Westbrook and Concord drives.
5:51 a.m. – Tracy Wachsman, 22, of Cortlandt, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 east.
MONDAY, Nov. 10
3:30 a.m. – Celeo Milla, 24, of Carmel, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Eton Road.
TUESDAY, Nov. 11
1:24 p.m. – Carmen Cosme, 51, Mohegan Lake, was arrested and charged with petit larceny after state police responded to a shoplifting report at ShopRite in Cortlandt Manor.

4:38 a.m. – Bilgin Ozdemir, 37, of Lake Peekskill, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop north on Route 9A.

FRIDAY, Nov. 14
7:30 a.m. – Rachel Shealy, 38, of Peekskill was arrested and charged with criminal impersonation and operating an auto with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 800 block of Main Street by Officer Mary Greenan. Shealy identified herself as her sister to avoid arrest for driving with a suspended license.
SATURDAY, Nov. 15
3:37 a.m. – Michael Tully, 48, of Garrison was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Main Street by Sgt. Ray Henderlong.
8:50 p.m. – Christopher Ayavaca, 22, of Peekskill was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after registering a blood-alcohol content above 0.18. He was stopped in the 10 block of Welcher Avenue by Officer Dan Labodin.
MONDAY, Nov. 17
4:10 p.m. – Melissa Simone, 37, of Mohegan Lake was arrested and charged with third-degree bail jumping after turning herself in at police headquarters to Officer Leo Dylewski.
Somers
THURSDAY, Nov. 6
8 p.m. – A Richard Somers Road resident reported that an unknown person vandalized his mailbox and his garden lights. Damage is estimated at $200.
SATURDAY, Nov. 8
11:40 a.m. – A Tomahawk Street resident reported that during the previous night an unknown person broke three of the windows on his truck. No estimate of the damage was available.
TUESDAY, Nov. 11
6:25 p.m. – Police responded to a report of disorderly youths. The youths were gone when the police arrived but the complainant pointed out a vehicle they had left behind, a black 1996 Chrysler four-door sedan. The vehicle had improper New York plates that were expired and the vehicle itself had a suspended registration. The vehicle was towed and impounded.
Yorktown
WEDNESDAY, Nov. 5
11:45 p.m. – A Lake Worth, Fla. resident was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree reckless endangerment, as well as second- and third-degree menacing following an altercation at Murphy’s Bar in Yorktown.
Anthony Palumbo, 44, was arrested after allegedly throwing a bar stool, damaging property and nearly injuring bar personnel. The suspect also allegedly threatened the staff and menaced them with a chair.
Palumbo was served a temporary order of protection and then released on $500 cash bail. He was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 12.
FRIDAY, Nov. 7
4:29 p.m. – An 18-year-old Peekskill resident was arrested and charged with third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, as well as numerous other traffic violations. The suspect’s name is being withheld due to possible eligibility for youthful offender status.
The suspect was taken into custody following a report incidents that he allegedly pointed a gun out the window of a motor vehicle traveling on Route 202. When police attempted to apprehend the suspect, he fled, but was finally apprehended on Veterans Road. Further investigation revealed the vehicle’s occupants were using a cell phone as an imitation weapon.
6:27 p.m. – John P. Balem, 56, of Peekskill, was arrested and charged with second-degree forgery, a class D felony, after allegedly attempting to fill a forged prescription at CVS on Commerce Street. A subsequent investigation revealed that Balem was in possession of two official New York State prescriptions that he allegedly forged in an attempt to purchase controlled substances.
SATURDAY, Nov. 8
7:06 p.m. – A 16-year-old male from Peekskill was arrested and charged with petit larceny after allegedly attempting to steal $142 worth of merchandise from the H&M store. He was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and then released to the custody of a parent. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 9.
SUNDAY, Nov. 9
2 a.m. – Police arrested and charged Brandon Marcus Reid, 23, of Peekskill, with unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, driving while intoxicated, all misdemeanors, as well as unsafe passing, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, speeding and failure to use a designated lane, all of which are traffic violations.
Reid was arrested after allegedly driving his vehicle on Crompond Road at a high rate of speed and on the wrong side of the road. Reid then allegedly failed to stop when police attempted to pull him over and fled.
4 p.m. – Raymona Bledsoe, 22, of West Point, was arrested and charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child after attempting to steal $276.35 worth of merchandise from Claire’s accessory store, while caring for a 6-month-old child.
TUESDAY, Nov. 11
9:55 a.m. – Thomas Hughes, 47, of Cortlandt Manor, was arrested and charged with fourth degree grand larceny after allegedly attempting to steal $1,000 in cash from a customer while employed at Quality Lawnmower. The suspect was released on $250 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 11.
5:10 p.m. – A 19-year-old Yorktown Heights resident, Eric Flores, was arrested and charged with fourth degree arson, a class E felony, after allegedly setting fire to a dumpster in the rear of TJ Maxx, located in the Triangle Shopping Center. According to police, Flores intentionally started the fire, which caused damage to the exterior of the building.
SUNDAY, Nov. 16
4:50 p.m. – A 17-year-old male from Yorktown is charged with first degree criminal contempt, a class E felony, following a domestic dispute.
According to police, the young man threatened to kick his father during an argument, a violation of a previous criminal court order of protection. The suspect fled the scene, but was apprehended by police a short time later.
