PEEKSKILL - Grant Wilfley Casting is holding an open call for extras for the new HBO mini-series, “Mildred Pierce,” starring Kate Winslet.

The mini-series will be filming in the Peekskill area mid- late April and the production is hoping to cast as many locals as possible. The series is set in 1930s.

Casting agents are seeking Screen Actors' Guild and non-Screen Actors' Guild men and women who have a 1930's, classic look.

The open casting call will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at The Paramount Center for the Arts 1008 Brown St.

Anyone unable to attend the open call, can e-mail a recent picture and contact information to mildredpierce@gwcnyc.com and write “Peekskill Local” in the subject line.

Participants must be legally permitted to work in the United States with valid documentation in order to appear on the show.
